03.2014 - New eHealth interoperability standards, Arsenàl.IT at Connecthaton 2014
From 7th to 11th April in Wien (Austria) there will be the annual edition of IHE-Europe Connecthaton where Arsenàl.IT’s team leaded by the technical manager Claudio Saccavini. Connecthaton is an annual event at European level during which interoperability standards developed in several fields are going to be tested in a structured environment. It represents a chance for the participants that can check and test interoperability levels of their products, following guidelines and technical items defined by IHE profiles, with many vendors at the same time.
Arsenàl.IT will provide some profiles created from the experience developed with XDW (Cross Enterprise Document Workflow), interoperability profile published by IHE in 2012 that represents the best achievement in research on interoperability developed by the technical team. As interoperability represents one of the most important elements for the EHR and one of the features that hindered its development at regional level, it is a study activity functional to the development of the regional EHR in the Veneto Region. During the event the technical team of Arsenàl.IT will be in videoconference with MedIT fair that takes place in Vicenza (Italy) during the same days.
